Rachel Tolve has been an award winning esthetician since 1998 and is the founder and formulator of ModVellum Clinical.
She was raised in Westchester, NY and attended Christine Valmy the founding School of Esthetics in The United States. She was trained by both Christine Valmy and also Marina Valmy who bought the facial here to the states in the 60's.
Shortly after becoming an esthetician she worked for 3 of the top 20 spas in the U.S including Adam Broderick, Noelle Day Spa and 77 Maiden Lane Salon & Spa.
Rachel then recognized that all the skincare coming to the east coast were from lines starting in California and so she moved to San Francisco. There she worked for the celebrity go to 77 Maiden Lane Salon and Spa.
She met two very powerful women in Wine Country chemical peel certification who would change her life, Flo McRae and Betty Lou Macintosh, two of the founders of CosMedix.
She then moved back to New York State to launch the first 8 states of the east coast territories for this company.
She has educated thousands of estheticians and worked with countless dermatologists and plastic surgeons. She has also performed close to 30,000 skincare treatments during her career.
In 2008 she created the first ModVellum website and later moved back to San Francisco to open the Union Street clinic.
Today this studio houses ModVellum partners and hosts educational seminars. Over 20,000 clients have experienced ModVellum services.
Rachel resides in San Rafael, California with her 2 dogs.
